Values and Vision

The values and intention of the ISCP can be summed up in that it is intended to: Improve the quality of life and opportunities for all children by working together and in partnership with parents, carers and the community to improve outcomes for children-keeping them safe.

The recently established Islands Safeguarding Adults Partnership remit has encompassed: "To develop and approve multi agency safeguarding adult policies, procedures and assessment tools. Commission multi agency safeguarding adult training. Agree and formalise information sharing arrangements and conduct reviews of serious adult safeguarding cases when needed, conduct multi agency safeguarding adult audits, contribute to the picture of need and risk to target multi agency actions and manage escalation if agencies have not been able to resolve disagreement about safeguarding adult cases."
